The final logo design combines the elements of gecko, five, and rising. Inspired by the group name "high five," I ended up designing a semi-abstract gecko in a dynamic motion of climbing up while looking out. (It took me a while experimenting with the representation of the gecko's legs and hands. I ended up keeping the plan of only showing two limbs and turned the lower leg into a round shape - it mimics the form of squatting, creating more contrasts and power.) The darker line along its form creates an Arabic number 5, linked to the five vivid dots representing its hand tightly pressing on the wall. I choose three shapes of blue as the theme color to convey the harmonious, clear-minded, and futuristic ideology of our team.
