New App Features

Come up with 10 new features for your favorite app or an app that you frequently use. Brainstorm 10 new ideas for features this company might add to their product. Sketch those 10 ideas in low fidelity (just enough to communicate the idea). Assume you will pitch these ideas to the product’s design team:

• Does this feature fall within the product’s mission? (Do background research on the company/product if you are unsure.)
• Who is this feature for?
• Would this feature replace existing features, or make it harder to use?
• Does this compete with other features or product goals?
• How can the feature be abused by users or by the company?
• Ethics question: Does it fit my personal ethics to do speculative work for this company?

Deliverable: Create 10 slides with one sentence and one visual describing each idea. Post these slides on your Notion site and be ready to discuss them in your next group meeting.
