Overview

• Co-organized by Design Co (UCSD student club) and Intuit
• Worked in a team of 5, had about 3h to finish
• Tried to come up with UX design for the financial management of certain groups of people (e.g. college student, recently graduated student, the freelancer)
• My first time participating in UX design competition

Conclusion

Things I have learnt

It was the first time I got to participate in this type of deign events (design sprint/design jam/designthon). Frankly speaking, I was truly overwhelmed by the fast-paced work flow and all the brainstorming methods and softwares used during the process.

Although I felt lost and did not come up with much contribution to the team, I ended up having an overall impression of the UX design process and getting touch with the common tools I would learn to use in the future (e.g. Adobe Xd).
